Robin
Assistant Manager
Robin is a mother of two grown-up kids. Her son is an athletic trainer and her daughter is a musician and private music instructor—Robin is a soccer mom AND a rocker mom!
Working for School of Rock Woodstock combines Robin's love of music and years of experience working around children. Her hobbies include learning drums, going to concerts, and watching her favorite team, Atlanta United, play soccer!
Amanda
Vocals Teacher, Keyboard + Piano Teacher
Amanda has been playing and teaching music for over two decades, starting with piano, and then moving on to vocals and guitar. Her interest in music started at a young age, playing her grandmother’s piano and singing with her family. She picked up the guitar when she went to college and couldn’t bring her piano with her. After college, Amanda taught at Eclectic Music in Atlanta for a couple of years.
Amanda lives in Woodstock with her family and she feels lucky to be able to teach at School of Rock Woodstock, where she gets to share her love of music with her community.
Connor
Guitar Teacher
Connor began playing guitar in December of 2019. He started off as a self-taught guitar player, but looked to 1:1 lessons to grow and advance as a player. Having great instructors along the way fueled his passion to teach. He primarily played acoustic guitar but now also plays and enjoys working with electric guitar. He always encourages students to explore different styles and sounds. Connor has performed at several local open mics, helping him grow as both a musician and performer. His love of music, playing and his experience teaching kids through math instruction and acting classes, makes him an ideal teacher at School of Rock Woodstock. He brings a patient, supportive approach to teaching and focuses on building confidence alongside technique. Some of his biggest musical influences include Third Eye Blind, The 1975, and Radiohead.
Haley
Vocals Teacher
Michigan native and a professional actress, singer, and songwriter, Haley joins School of Rock Woodstock as a recent graduate of the SCAD Performing Arts Master's program. She has taught K-12 Voice and Theatre at the Boys and Girls Club of America, and offers private vocals and acting coaching. Haley writes, records and most recently, produces, her own music. She has four singles and an EP out on all streaming platforms in her signature Alternative Pop style.
Haley has been vocally trained professionally for twenty years by a dozen acclaimed teachers, performing for some of Broadway's biggest composers. At Oakland University, Haley received two Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Musical Theatre and Film. Whether she is on stage, screen, or in a vocal lesson, Haley leads with empathy and professionalism.
Markus
Guitar Teacher, Bass Guitar Teacher
Markus Alfonso is a local guitarist, bassist, and songwriter. He is a recent graduate from the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Music and Technology. With a deep passion and love for music instilled in him at an early age by his parents and local Atlanta musicians, Markus was inspired to follow in the footsteps of his guitar heroes by pursuing a career in music after being gifted his first guitar by his father.
Some of his favorite bands/artists are King’s X, Extreme, Buckethead, and Joe Satriani. With an interest in a broad range of genres, he is proficient in playing in a variety of musical styles from rock, metal, pop, jazz, blues, funk, fusion, and everything in between. Markus is proud to be a part of the School of Rock Woodstock team.

For nearly six seasons, he’s been a dedicated instructor at School of Rock Woodstock, helping students grow as musicians. Ryan’s teaching style blends technical skill-building with encouragement, creativity, and real-world musical experience. He’s committed to inspiring students to find their own sound and confidence on stage.
Troy
Vocals Teacher
Troy, who also performs under the name Alto Moon, is a passionate music educator with real-world industry experience. He’s been fortunate to perform across the country, has written and produced original music, and even appeared on platforms like American Idol and an MTV music series. As a songwriter, music producer, and vocal producer, Troy brings a well-rounded perspective to his teaching.
At School of Rock Woodstock, he focuses on helping students find their own voice—musically and creatively—while keeping the process fun, supportive, and engaging. He believes music should be a space for self-expression, growth, and the occasional happy mistake. With a background that blends stage performance and studio work, Troy loves sharing what he’s learned in a way that’s approachable and encouraging. His goal is simple: to help students fall in love with making music.
